Changes since RPM 0.78:
Player menu extended. You can now easily add colors and symbols to your name, and bind your name to a key or save it to a file:
The healthbar of your teammates is now shown above them:
New smiley set added. For the full smiley list, type the "smileys" command. Some examples:
New square crosshair added, it's the 5th crosshair in the Settings menu (or type cg_drawCrosshair 5). This crosshair was added because the default crosshairs are not perfectly centered. You can adjust its size using the Settings menu. For most resolutions, the Very small or Small option should be used. The crosshair is similar to the dot crosshair:
Your teammate locations can now be shown in your HUD. For the RPM HUD, it can show up to 9 players and is shown at the right bottom of your screen. For the default HUD, it can show up to 5 players and is shown at the left bottom of your screen. You can turn it on in the Settings menu at Teammate locations:
Demos menu added. In RPM 2k3 servers, you can use the Start recording and Stop recording buttons to create demos. In competition mode, everyone will start recording automatically. The recording automatically stops at the end of the map, when the scoreboard is shown. A screenshot is automatically taken when the recording is stopped, so you'll automatically have a scoreboard screenshot. The player scores are also saved. The demos menu looks like this:
Playback menu added which is available during demo playback. Use it to adjust playback speed, skip a part of the demo, add cameras and more:
Note that before you can playback a demo, you'll have to fix it (due to a bug in SoF2 1.00). For this reason a demo tool called Demos.exe has been included in the RPM folder. You can use it to fix demos, play demos, delete demos and zip demos. The zip feature can be used to share demos with your friends -- the screenshots, demo info and cameras are also zipped. The Demos.exe program uses the Win32 API and looks like this:
Other features:
- Crosshair grow is now disabled by default. You can turn it on in the Settings menu.
- Radar edit: chatting players aren't shown as white anymore.
- Radar edit: your own arrow is not drawn anymore (optional, use the Settings menu to disable).
- A skull sprite is drawn on your screen whenever a teammate dies.
- New killstreak sounds added, which belong to UT99.
- The HideSeek_PlayerSkins.pk3 file is not needed anymore, it has been included in the mod.
